TORONTO: Mohamed Nur Hassan arrested in robberies of TTC collectors
Toronto Police have arrested a man in relation to two separate TTC collector robberies in October.
The first robbery happened on Oct. 15 at Wellesley Station, the second on Oct. 31 at Rosedale Station. In both incidents, a man allegedly approached the collector booth, demanded money and then ran away after he got it.
A man was arrested shortly after the second robbery by TTC security officers.
Mohamed Nur Hassan, 56, of Toronto, has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
