Black male suspects searched by Toronto police in robbery and theft

Robbery (Mugging) – 42 Division

A 46 year old male reports that on April 5, 2010 at approximately 2100 hours, he was walking in the area of Morningside Avenue and Old Finch Avenue when he was approached from behind by two male suspects. One suspect stood as a lookout while the other suspect struck the victim and removed his wallet and cellphone. The suspects fled the scene southbound on Misty Hills Trail. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 22 to 25 years, 5’11” to 6’, medium build, black hair. Suspect #2: Male,

Robbery (Delivery Person) – 23 Division

A 37 year old male and a 51 year old male, employees of Pizza-Pizza report that on April 5, 2010 at approximately 2145 hours, they were making a delivery in the Silverstone Drive and Albion Road area when they were approached by two male suspects in disguises, one armed with a knife. The suspects removed a pizza, drinks and a quantity of cash and fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victims. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 23 to 25 years, 5’11” to 6’, 161 to 169 lbs, short black hair. Suspect #2: Male, black, 22 to 25 years, 5’11” to 6’, 185 to 189 lbs, short black hair.

Theft Over – 12 Division

Canada Telecommunication Service, 42 Duflaw Road, reports that on April 5, 2010 at approximately 1730 hours entry was gained into a vehicle in the area of Jane Street and Alliance Avenue. Removed was a quantity of phone cards.

Robbery (Purse Snatch) – 32 Division

A 29 year old female reports that on April 5, 2010 at approximately 1930 hours she was on a subway car in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area when a male suspect grabbed her purse and exited the train in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect: Male, black, 5’6” to 5’8”, medium build.

Robbery (Mugging) – 12 Division

A 24 year old male reports that on April 4, 2010 at approximately 0200 hours, he was walking in the Jane Street and Weston Road area when he was approached from behind by two male suspects. One suspect grabbed the victim and made a demand for cash. The second suspect removed the victim’s cash and identification. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 28 to 33 years, 5’9” to 6’, 185 to 200 lbs, medium build. Suspect #2: Male, black, 28 to 33 years, 5’9” to 6’, 189 to 200 lbs, medium build.

Robbery (Business) – 42 Division

A 41 year old male employee of J and K Salon, 1883 McNicoll Avenue reports that on April 6, 2010 at approximately 1414 hours, a male suspect entered the premises and approached the counter. The suspect ordered the victim to open the cash drawer and the victim refused. The suspect produced a handgun and the victim complied by opening the drawer. The suspect then removed a quantity of cash from the drawer and fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect: Male, black, 18-25 years, 5’10”, thin build.

Theft Over – 22 Division

Ontario Food Terminal, 165 The Queensway, reports that between 0001 hours, December 01, 2009 and 0001 hours, April 1, 2010 hours, a tow lift was removed from the above premises.
